Olivia

Olivia’s love for horses began at a young age in the countryside near Melbourne, Australia. She was captivated by horses and convinced her mom to take her to a weekend trail ride program. From her first ride, Olivia was hooked and would never miss a weekend, whether it was the scorching heat of summer or the pouring rain of winter.

Olivia’s training philosophy emphasizes mastering the basics of flatwork and jumping as the foundation for a successful riding career. She focuses on building a strong riding position and believes that once the foundation is laid, riders can pursue success in jumpers, equitation, or hunters. Olivia’s training expertise has taken riders from the beginning of their careers through to achieving success at the A circuit, including Grand Prix and Medal Finals wins.

Her approach to training is simple but effective. Olivia focuses on a few essential elements for each rider and horse, tailoring her lessons to fit their individual needs. She knows that success comes from a balanced approach—proper training, thoughtful horse management, and patience, especially as horses begin to jump in higher classes. Her style, both meticulous and grounded, instills confidence and yields results.

Olivia’s favorite horse currently is Bling, a Grand Prix mare who has brought her and her daughter Zoe Grand Prix victories. Outside of the barn, Olivia enjoys the joys and challenges of being a mom and constantly seeks new knowledge through podcasts and books on a variety of topics.

She feels incredibly fortunate to work alongside her daughter, Zoe, assistants Amanda and Dennis, and long-time head grooms, Manuel and Flo. Together, they share a common goal: to consistently produce quality horses and riders.

Olivia’s ultimate hope for her riders is to develop a lifelong love for horses, competition and the overall learning process.
