Dennis
Originally from the Netherlands, Dennis grew up immersed in the equestrian world, thanks to his family’s riding school. Although his early years were filled with other sports and hobbies, his parents’ encouragement (and a little persuasion) eventually led him to discover a passion for horses at age 13. Since then, Dennis has built an impressive career as a rider and trainer, specializing in jumpers and working with clients at all levels, from beginners to those competing in international FEI events.
As a trainer, Dennis takes pride in helping riders build confidence and master the basics, keeping training straightforward and goal-oriented. He believes in setting realistic objectives and working patiently toward them, ensuring long-term success for both horse and rider.
One of his most rewarding achievements as a trainer was guiding a client through their first FEI show and helping them reach success at the FEI 4* Grand Prix level. Personally, Dennis has a strong background in developing young horses, successfully producing them for competition or transitioning them to new riders to continue their progress.
Dennis finds immense joy in working with horses, appreciating their unique ability to give back and create fulfilling partnerships. He also values the outdoor lifestyle that comes with his profession and the supportive camaraderie of the team he’s part of. For his clients, Dennis aims to instill a sense of confidence, patience, and a love for the journey, both in and out of the show ring.
